1. What Currency are your rates in?
Our rates are in American dollars.
2. What is your tax?
Our rates include only 10 % service charge, the 19% sales taxes ( IGV ) doesn’t applies to foreigners to stay in the country for less than 60 consecutives days.
Foreigners must present the Andean Immigration Card and original passport at check in: so you will not be subject to the sales tax.
3. Do you have a restaurant?
Yes, our restaurant named MR KOALA is open 24 hours, we offer a variety of Peruvian cuisine and you can enjoy the famous Pisco sour at our bar.
4. Is breakfast included?
Yes, breakfast is included in the rate.
5. Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, we do not allow pets in the Hotel.
6. Why do you need my credit card number when I book
We do not charge anything to your card at the time of booking, but your credit card number is used to guarantee your reservation. Payment should be made in the hotel, either in cash or credit card.
7. What is your Cancellation Policy?
24 hours cancellation notice is required on all reservations to avoid a cancellation penalty equal to one night’s room and tax.
8. What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is 13:00 hours. If you arrive earlier and a room is ready, you can check-in when you arrive.
Check out – time is 12:00 hours. If you require a late check out, it depends on our availability and the rate is half the room rate.
9. Whom should I contact to if I have some problem with my reservation?
You can contact us at 0051 -1 – 426 -7204, our staff at the reception speaks fluent English and is available 24 hours, they would be pleased to answer to your questions.
10. Can I store my luggage while I’m traveling through Peru or after my check out?
Yes, We have a luggage storage facility, which is located next to the reception area, this service is free of charge.
11. How can I get to you from the airport?
The 15 km ride from the airport takes approx 30 minutes depending on the traffic. The best way to get to us from the airport is by taxi, the Hotel can organize this service for you.
12. How far are you from Downtown?
We are located in the heart of Lima Center, just three blocks from the Main Square and the Government Palace.
13. Is it safe to walk around the Downtown area?
Yes, the security in the area has increased, walking through the streets of Lima is safe enough to enjoy it.
14. What about shopping?
There is a Supermarket called Metro, which is located two blocks from the Hotel, in the pedestrian street behind us called Jr. De La Union, you can find everything from fast food chains to department store, if you are looking for Peruvian crafts, two blocks up there is mall specialized on it.
15. How far are you from Miraflores?
The ride takes approx 20 minutes by taxi, the fare is about USD 3.00 or 10.00 local currency.
16. What is the weather like in Lima?
Lima has a mild, coastal desert climate with no extreme temperatures. In winter the lowest temperatures is 14 C and in summertime it reaches 30 C.
